361 Degrees Distributors Snap up More Goods at Higher Prices

Sportswear maker 361 Degrees (1361.HK) recorded a 27% y-o-y increase in the value of orders placed at its winter 2011 collection fair held from April 15-22, Sina reports citing unspecified Hong Kong media. According to the report, footwear orders rose 12% y-o-y in volume, even with average selling price 10% higher y-o-y, while distributors placed 10% more orders for apparel items compared with last year, despite a 17% increase in ASP. The rising prices reflect growing input costs, as well as rising quality of its apparel lines, while ASP of footwear rose at a lower pace than apparel in part as the company introduced a broader range of footwear lines, the report said.
