Youku, Lenovo Launch 3D Vid Site

Domestic online video site Youku.com has officially released its online 3D cinema developed in partnership with computer manufacturer Lenovo (0992.HK), 163.com reported July 19. Users can watch videos on the site with a pair of 3D glasses and interact with menus using hand gestures picked up by webcam, the report said. The site currently only shows trailers of movies such as "Up" and Avatar, according to the posting.
Previously, Youku announced a series of content production partnerships and a brand under which it would distribute original content.
