Yingli Group Builds RMB 6B Industry Park

Yingli Green Energy (NYSE:YGE) affiliate Yingli Group broke ground on its RMB 6 billion Yingli Industry Park in Baoding, Hebei province on July 27, Hebei Daily reports. The park will include a 800MW per annum crystalline silicon solar cell project, with a completion date set for December 2010, the report said. After the project comes on-stream, Yingli will have a total annual crystalline silicon solar cell production capacity of 1,400MW, and will generate sales revenues of as much as RMB 15 billion per year, the report said.
