Yingli Fires Up Fresh Capacity

Photovoltaic (PV) products manufacturer Yingli Green Energy (NYSE:YGE) has started initial production of its combined 400MW monocrystalline and multicrystalline -based integrated PV products capacity expansions in Baoding and Haikou, respectively, the company announced July 8.

The company had previously announced it expected to put its 3,000 metric ton capacity in-house poly plant, Fine Silicon into production in mid-2010.
