Yahoo China Sues Ahnlab Over 3721 Labeling
Korea anti-virus software maker AhnLab CEO Huang Xiaoxuan recently said that AhnLab's court date with Yahoo China has been pushed back from August 25 to mid-September, reports CNET News. Yahoo China sued AhnLab's China branch for listing 3721 as spyware. Huang said that many anti-virus companies have labeled 3721 as spyware, but Yahoo China only sued AhnLab. AnhLab provided online anti-virus services in partnership with 3721 in 2003, which helped AnhLab reach two million monthly pay views. The report said that AhnLab plans to establish a China R&D center in the next two years.
