STMicroelectronics Partners With Legend Silicon Tech For Digital TV

Digital TV set-top-box chip manufacturer STMicroelectronics and Tsinghua Tongfang Legend Silicon Tech announced that they have jointly developed a high definition digital TV platform that is based on China's national DTV standard DTTB, reports China Enterprise News. The platform is called DTV100-DTMB and uses Legend Silicon Tech's decoding technology and STMicroelecronics' DTV chip technology.
