Shanghai to Spend RMB 100b on Disneyland, Work to Start in May

Shanghai municipal government will invest more than RMB 100 billion in Walt Disney Company's (NYSE:DIS) Shanghai Disneyland, construction of which is expected to start in May, 2011, Xinmin.cn reported on January 5. Government spending will be focused on core park construction, estimated at costing RMB 25 billion, and supporting projects, estimated at around RMB 40 billion, the report said.
