Oak Pacific Interactive CEO On Lay-Offs

Oak Pacific Interactive's recent 10 percent staff cut is not related to new regulations for wireless value added service providers, DoNews reports quoting Oak Pacific Interactive CEO Joseph Chen. Chen said that most employees been laid-off are new to the company. Oak Pacific Interactive will soon enter the overseas market and will launch an English website, said Chen. Chen said that Oak Pacific Interactive plans to publicly list Mop.com and IT community Donews.com as independent companies. Chen expects 5Q.com and Renren.com to be profitable in the next two or three years.
