NDRC OKs Linuo 10MW On-Grid PV Station

Linuo Group has received approval from the National Development and Reform Commission to build a 10MW on-grid photovoltaic (PV) power station in Xigaze, Tibet, Solarbe reported January 5. The project is the second 10MW on-grid PV power station to get the NDRC go-ahead after the double project in Dunhuang, Gansu province, the report said.

Reports in August noted the start of construction of two pilot PV projects, each with 10MW installed capacity, in Dunhuang.

Linuo started construction of a 1.6MW building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) project in October.

Linuo Group signed with China Development Bank on February 27 for financing over the next three years with initial funds to be directed towards Linuo's Xigaze project, according to a posting on Linuo Group's official site.
