NDRC: Non-Finance Cos to Up Overseas Investment 10% in 2010

Overseas investments made by China's non-financial enterprises may reach $48 billion in 2010, and focus on the fields of energy, resources, hi-tech and advanced manufacturing, Caijing.com.cn reports citing National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) Vice Director Zhang Xiaoqiang on January 17.

China's non-financial enterprises invested a total of $43.3 billion overseas in 2009, 6.5% higher than in 2008, according to data released by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), said the report.
