NDRC: China ‘09 Oil Use Half Fueled By Imports
China was reliant on imports to supply 52% of its oil consumption in 2009, marking the first time the country's oil consumption passed the 50% imports has National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) Vice Director Zhang Xiaoqiang. China imported 204 million metric tons of crude oil in 2009, up 14% year-on-year, Zhang said.
