Moloon Acquires Mobile Game Developer

Beijing wireless value-added service (WVAS) provider Moloon recently acquired mobile game developer Digi-blue, reports Communication Information. According to Moloon CEO Lu Jian, Moloon will become a content provider (CP) as well as service provider after the acquisition. Moloon will soon recruit R&D staff and may even acquire a handset R&D company. Lu said that Moloon expects R&D staff to cover 50 percent of total staff by the end of 2006. Moloon currently has about 300 employees.
