Golden Holiday Launches Online E-ticket Booking Service

Beijing based travel agency Golden Holiday launched an online e-ticket booking system yesterday, reports Beijing Star Daily. The system is China's first online airfare e-ticket booking system that is available to both domestic and overseas travelers. Domestic travelers can book e-tickets to foreign destinations, while travelers outside China can purchase e-tickets for flights between two Chinese cities, said Golden Holiday general manager Qian Yu. Service for e-tickets between two foreign cities is not available yet. Golden Holiday, a traditional travel agency, sued Ctrip in 2004 for unfair competition, but eventually lost the case.
