Shanda Games' (Nasdaq:GAME) acquired subsidiary Goldcool plans to start larger scale alpha testing of its in-house developed 3D MMORPG Magic World Online II on August 28, 17173.com reported August 10.

The game entered alpha testing in late April this year.
