CNOOC Announces New Bohai Discovery

China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) (NYSE:CEO, 0883.HK) has made a new discovery, Penglai 9-1 in the east of Bohai Bay, China's largest offshore oil and gas production base, CNOOC announced April 19. The company has conducted a drill stem test at the site, and the well produced an average of 540 barrels of oil per day during the test, the announcement said.
