China Power Inves’t Builds 100MW Solar Project
China Power Investment Corp subsidiary CPI Northeast New Energy Development Corp has signed an agreement with the municipal government of Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, to build a 100MW photovoltaic power generation facility as well as a wind/PV dual power production pilot project, pvnews.cn reports. The PV side of the project will require total investment of around RMB 1.8 billion, and is expected to start first-phase construction before the end of 2012, according to the report. The project is expected to be completed before 2015, the report said.
