ABC to Launch A- and H-Shares IPOs Simultaneously
Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) plans to issue up to 22.24 billion Shanghai-listed A-shares, or 25.57 billion shares if the full over-allotment option is exercised, as well as 25.41 billion Hong Kong-listed H-shares, according to the company's initial public offering (IPO) prospectus released June 7.
Sources close to the Ministry of Finance and Central Huijin Investment, the big two state shareholders in ABC, believe the bank should postpone its IPO, Century Weekly reported.
