A3-Themed Books To Enter China - China Youth Daily
Hua Wen Publishing House announced last week that the company purchased the copyright of A3-themed books from Korea for 700,000 Yuan, and will soon publish the books in China. Hua Wen Publishing House editorial head Du Haihong said that the company entered the game related publication business in August 2001, when they published novels based on another online game Dragon Raja. Du believes that the popularity of A3 will help book sales. Dongfang Hutong marketing manager Sun Yongbin told press that presently game merchandise revenues account for 40 percent of A3's total revenues in Korea. A3 registered 12 million accounts in China so far, and averages around 100,000 concurrent players.
